Formed in 2009, Anacondaz rose to prominence in Russia through viral videos and extensive touring. They have released eight studio albums and multiple EPs, appeared on national television, and collaborated widely with other Russian musicians. In 2022 the group publicly opposed the Russia–Ukraine war, which led to concert cancellations and restrictions on some performances.
