Bontan emerged in the early 2010s and built a profile through high-selling releases and remixes, achieving multiple Beatport #1s and strong radio support including BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes. He has played major festivals (including Coachella), received industry recognition such as DJ Awards coverage, and recently launched his own imprint, North Drum.
