Branford Marsalis is an American saxophonist, composer, and bandleader who founded the Branford Marsalis Quartet and the Marsalis Music label. He has won multiple Grammy Awards, received recognition from the National Endowment for the Arts as a Jazz Master, composed scores for film and television, and collaborated widely across classical, jazz, and popular music.
