Brian Blade formed Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band in 1997 and released the group's Blue Note debut in 1998, leading the ensemble through multiple acclaimed albums including Kings Highway (2023). He is a highly sought-after session musician and bandleader who has performed with artists such as Wayne Shorter, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and Chick Corea, and has received honors including an ECHO Jazz award and a Grammy as a contributor to Chick Corea projects.
