CASTLE formed in San Francisco in 2009 and released their debut In Witch Order on Ván Records in 2011, earning year-end recognition from Metal Hammer Norway and a Roadburn Newcomer nod. The trio (Liz Blackwell, Mat Davis, Al McCartney) have released multiple full-lengths and toured internationally with acts such as The Sword and Pentagram. In 2024 they signed to Hammerheart Records for the album Evil Remains and continue to actively tour and sell music/merch via their site and Bandcamp.
