Cheo Feliciano was a singer and composer who rose to prominence as the lead vocalist for the Joe Cuba Sextet and later recorded extensively for Fania Records. He founded Coche Records, performed with the Fania All-Stars and Salsa Giants, and remained active from 1957 until his death in a 2014 car accident.
