Formed in 1985 by siblings Margo, Michael and Peter Timmins with friend Alan Anton, the Cowboy Junkies gained international attention with their second album, The Trinity Session, recorded in Toronto’s Church of the Holy Trinity. The group has largely retained its original lineup, released a long catalogue of albums, toured internationally, and earned critical acclaim including Juno Award nominations.
