Daniel John Harding (born 31 August 1975) is a British conductor who began his career as an assistant to Sir Simon Rattle and Claudio Abbado. He has held leadership posts with the Trondheim Symphony, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, served as Principal Conductor of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra (2007–2025), and was appointed Music Director of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in 2024.
