David M. Bloom (born 1954) is an American guitarist, flautist, composer, arranger, producer and long-time educator who founded the Bloom School of Jazz in Chicago in 1975. He has authored instructional books (distributed by Hal Leonard), released multiple albums (including collaborations with Cliff Colnot), and was named Jazz Educator of the Year by the Jazz Institute of Chicago in 2017.
