Davóne Tines is an American operatic bass-baritone known for creating leading roles in new works and for frequent collaborations with director Peter Sellars. He has originated roles in Matthew Aucoin's Crossing, John Adams's Girls of the Golden West, and Terence Blanchard's Fire Shut Up in My Bones, and has received honors including the 2018 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award and the 2024 Chanel Next Prize.
