Hailing from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, Displaced is a three-piece band combining elements of early death metal and thrash metal to create an extreme death/thrash style. Also using inspiration from genres like traditional heavy metal, speed metal,and the first wave of black metal.
Originally formed in 2013 while Milan, Kyle and Tyrone would jam at Kyle's Dads place and Tyrone's place. They knew from then on that the three of them wanted to create a heavy and fast sound with a raw, more classic style of extreme metal. The name "Displaced" was then thought out by Tyrone in the summer of 2014.
In early 2015, the jam space was moved to the basement of Kyle's new place. Now with a more comfortable jam spot, the band has been practicing and developing throughout the year and will be recording a demo and EP in 2016.
