Echoes of Our Ancestors is a public-facing history and performance program founded by Tami Tyree in 2008 that uses music, lectures, workshops, and staged presentations to teach African?American history. The initiative has produced projects such as The Frederick Douglass Continuum and staged works like "A Seat at the Table: Dinner With Frederick Douglass," and Tyree has presented at venues including Riverside Church and in association with the National Museum of African?American History & Culture.
