First Day Back formed in 2024 and released their debut album Forward on June 1, 2025. The self-released record was followed by a headlining California tour in September 2025 that culminated in a sold-out show at The Catalyst Atrium on September 24, 2025. The band has since expanded their touring profile and were announced as support for Basement's WIRED 2026 North American tour.
