With the 20th anniversary of their first album practically around the corner, Garbage and its members (Shirley Manson, Duke Erickson, Butch Vig and Steve Marker) have been positioned as one of the most recognized bands in the world. Not located in a well-defined musical genre since its formation in 1993, they have developed a daring and unique sound that has expanded for more than two decades and more than 17 million copies of their albums sold. Although the genre to which they belong is difficult to define, their style is one that belongs only to them, something difficult to achieve in a time when we have to reach an infinite range of sonic possibilities.
