Glen Matlock was a founding member and the original bass guitarist of the Sex Pistols and is credited as a co-writer on most of the songs from Never Mind the Bollocks. He left the band in early 1977, went on to form Rich Kids and later worked and recorded with artists including Iggy Pop and Primal Scream, and has released solo material and toured regularly since the 1990s.
