Hayato Sumino is a Japanese pianist, composer and YouTuber (also known as Cateen) who trained at the University of Tokyo and studied music/AI research at IRCAM. He won the Grand Prix at the 42nd PTNA Piano Competition (2018), placed in international competitions including Lyon (2019) and reached the third round of the 2021 Chopin Competition; he has a large online following and records for major labels.
