Founded in 2009 by Charles Dickerson III, ICYOLA is a nonprofit that provides high-quality orchestral training and music education to underserved youth. The organization is recognized as the largest majority-Black youth orchestra in the United States and has performed at major venues including Walt Disney Concert Hall while partnering with institutions such as California State University, Dominguez Hills.
