Javier Santiago is a pianist, composer, producer and sideman who studied at The New School and is an alumnus of the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz Performance and the Brubeck Institute Fellowship. His debut album Phoenix (2018) was named Best Jazz Album of 2018 by Vinyl Me, Please; he received a McKnight Fellowship and was a finalist in the 2015 American Jazz Pianist competition.
