Jonathan Taylor Rush is an American orchestral conductor who earned a Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from the Peabody Institute and served as Assistant/Associate Conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from 2020–2023. He has led major orchestras nationally and internationally, conducted recordings and premieres including Carlos Simon’s brea(d)th with the Minnesota Orchestra (Decca) and Big Freedia’s Live at the Orpheum, and was named a finalist for Music Director of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra in 2026.
