Julia Bullock is an American soprano noted for her work in contemporary and repertory vocal programs and for creating interdisciplinary projects. She won the 2024 Grammy Award for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album for Walking in the Dark and is a founding core member of the American Modern Opera Company (AMOC). Bullock has held residencies and high-profile engagements with institutions including the San Francisco Symphony and the Metropolitan Museum of Art and has curated projects exploring Black women’s musical histories.
