Julie Kim

Julie Kim is a two time Canadian Comedy Award nominated stand-up comedian. She was a gala performer at the 2012 Halifax Comedy Festival and was a part of Comic Vision 2012. In 2013, Julie performed with some of Canada’s funniest people at the Hubcap Comedy Festival and the Edmonton Comedy Festival. She has also been featured on CBC’s hit radio show The Debaters and CBC's Laugh Out Loud. Julie was a gala performer at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival in 2014 and again in 2015 (both recorded for airing on national television). She will be delivering multiple performances at the Halifax Comedy Festival in 2016, which will be taped for television audiences. Julie is also a speaker, university educator, workshop facilitator, and event host. Some of her clients have included the University Health Network, the Learning Enrichment Foundation, Accenture, the University of Waterloo, York University, the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children, the BC Chiropractic Association, the University of British Columbia, the Ontario Medical Association, and the Foundation for Fighting Blindness. Julie's humour is largely clean and not at all vulgar, with an obvious yet mostly unoffensive bite. Julie has shared the stage with people who have shared the stage with Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Louis C.K. and Zach Galifianakis. She's also a hoot at parties.
