Founded in 2009 by Susie García, Las Colibrí is an all-female, all-strings mariachi ensemble that favors early 20th-century instrumentation and colorful, feminine costuming. The group has performed at major Los Angeles venues and civic events (including The Ford, Union Station and the L.A. County Holiday Celebration) and is presented through Colibrí Entertainment, which produces the ¡Viva La Tradición! series.
