Maria Bermudez is a dancer, choreographer, and artistic director who founded and leads the Sonidos Gitanos company. She has presented work at major venues including the Hollywood Bowl, Lincoln Center, and Walt Disney Concert Hall and was named Flamenco Ambassador by the city of Jerez de la Frontera in 2022. Her career spans more than three decades and she appears in the documentary "Streets of Flamenco."
