Maxim Emelyanychev (born 1988) is a Russian conductor, pianist, harpsichordist and cornetist who has led the period-instrument ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro and serves as Principal Conductor of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra (appointed 2019). He has recorded and toured widely, collaborated with artists such as Joyce DiDonato, won major awards for recordings, and has received multiple Grammy nominations.
