moondaddy was founded in 2020 by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cara Potiker as a bedroom project during the COVID-19 lockdown. The San Diego-based outfit has released the full-length Poet Lies (issued via Volar Records) and later Dove Tapes, tracked at Sonic Ranch with producer Manuel Calderón, and has premiered singles on outlets including KCRW.
