Purest Form were a New Zealand vocal harmony quartet formed at Onehunga High School and discovered while busking in downtown Auckland. They achieved national prominence with a 1994 cover of Split Enz's "Message to My Girl" (peaked at No. 2) which won Single of the Year at the 1995 New Zealand Music Awards; the group released several charting singles before splitting in 1997 and briefly reuniting for a 2013 television appearance.
