Rae Khalil first gained attention as a contestant on Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow and later contributed songwriting and vocals to Anderson.Paak’s “Lockdown,” which won Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards (2021). She signed to Def Jam via Anderson.Paak’s APESHIT imprint in 2024 and has released singles leading up to the album CRYBABY. Khalil has also released independent projects and appears on platforms including Bandcamp, Apple Music, and Qobuz.
