Formed in 2018 by Olli Appleyard and ex-members of Galleries, Static Dress have released the debut album Rouge Carpet Disaster (May 2022) and the sophomore Injury Episode (May 2026). They won the Kerrang! Readers' Poll New Band of the Year, have received Heavy Music Awards recognition, and are noted for ambitious multimedia worldbuilding including a comic book and a Game Boy Color video game tied to their releases.
