Formed in 1998 as Phlip, Stepa released a self-titled debut on Locomotive Music on July 30, 2002 with singles such as "Aquarium" and "Spaceships And Airplanes." The group disbanded in 2003, reunited in 2022 and announced work toward a follow-up album.
