Steven Banks is an American performer, writer, actor and musician who developed the one-man show Home Entertainment Center, which led to a 1989 Showtime special and a 1994 PBS series. He has written for animated series including CatDog and SpongeBob SquarePants (earning an Emmy nomination in 2008), co-created the stage piece Shadowland with Pilobolus, and is the author of the novel King of the Creeps.
