About
Formed in the summer of 2023 on the banks of the Stillwater River while members were at the University of Maine, Stillwater is a New England bluegrass ensemble featuring Trip Nickel, Yoni Musher, Kiera Luu, George Horvat, and Jack Pasternak. They have played regional festivals and venues (Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival, Podunk, Ossippee Valley Music Festival, Downeast Rock & Roots) and released the 2024 single “Piney Point” and Cedar House Sessions Vol. 1, with a follow-up album planned for 2025.
