Formed in Tokyo in 1985, The STRUMMERS made their major debut in 1990 with the single "STAND AGAIN" (recorded in London) and released several albums and live records in the early 1990s. A landmark 1992 live at Kawasaki Club Citta was later reissued; vocalist Iwata passed away on May 9, 2017, after which the band’s original lineup was no longer intact.
