About
Born Tawanda Suessbrich-Joaquim, she won first place (tie) at the 2021 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and received the BISTRO Outstanding Achievement Award for Jazz Vocalists in 2023. Her debut album Smile was released on Resonance Records in 2022; she has toured with Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox and was featured on Ivan Lins' Grammy?nominated album My Heart Speaks.
