About
The Animeros formed in 2024 as a trio featuring Nick Tozzo (drums/percussion), Nicolás Sánchez (bass) and Mauro López (guitar). They signed to Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound, with Auerbach producing and releasing early singles (including the 2026 single Ponchote/Mamba Mambo). The band made higher-profile appearances in 2025, including a set at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 3, 2025.
