Formed in 1982 by Paula Pierce, The Pandoras released the albums It's About Time (1984) and Stop Pretending (1986) and recorded for labels including Bomp! and Rhino. Pierce died in 1991; surviving members reunited with later lineups (including Kim Shattuck and Melanie Vammen) for shows beginning in 2013 and released the Hey! It's The Pandoras EP in 2018. The group has continued to perform and tour with subsequent lineups preserving the band's catalogue and legacy.
