Thomas Alphonso Wilkins (b. c.1956) is an American orchestral conductor who served as music director of the Omaha Symphony from 2005 until 2021 and now holds the title Music Director Laureate. He is principal conductor of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, serves in an education and community engagement role with the Boston Symphony, is Henry A. Upper Chair of Orchestral Conducting at Indiana University, and has received honors including the Leonard Bernstein Lifetime Achievement Award and the League of American Orchestras’ Golden Baton.
