Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry (UUAM) is a national Unitarian Universalist organization that promotes compassion and justice for nonhuman animals and supports local UU chapters. It began in 1986 as Unitarian Universalists For the Ethical Treatment of Animals and adopted the UUAM name in 2009. UUAM provides resources, newsletters, events, and advocacy to congregations and individuals across the United States.
