West Bound was formed around 2018 by vocalist Chas West and guitarist/producer Roy Z. The group released their debut album Volume I in 2019 (Frontiers) and later issued the single "Don't Stand In My Sunshine" in 2023. Lineups and live appearances have included Jimmy Burkhard, Jason Cornwell and Dave Moreno, and the band has performed at venues such as the Whisky A Go-Go.
