Homeware [6 weeks]

Homeware is a 6-week, Level 2 wheel-throwing series focuses on designing and making functional ceramic homeware and furniture. Each series centers on specific item(s), giving you time to think through form, scale, execution and function. You’ll move through the full process—throwing, trimming, and glazing—while developing technical skills and your personal style, and getting comfortable producing pieces that feel consistent and intentional. Homeware series will cover from design to wiring. Student will walk away with a fully functional ceramic electric lamp. Aram Guzman is a designer and potter who has been teaching at POT since 2018.
