The Grammy Museum is thrilled to host a special screening of Conviction of the Heart, the biographical documentary film about two-time Grammy Award-winning artist Kenny Loggins and a post-screening discussion with Kenny Loggins sharing insight behind the creative process of the documentary, plus a short performance in the Museum's intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater. ABOUT CONVICTION OF THE HEART Legendary, multi-platinum, Oscar and Tony-nominated, Grammy and Emmy-winning songwriter and recording artist Kenny Loggins was a very shy, gawky, unpopular kid with low self-esteem. Even after his remarkable musical talents were discovered, Loggins thought he had to create a persona to do the rock star thing. This role-playing was fueled by his first business manager, who told him that the lifespan of a pop star was three years. Loggins spent the subsequent 50 years reinventing himself over and over, both to chase his artistic dreams and to stay in the game. He felt safer as a moving target.
