Red Rabbit & The Burrows| Mariel Austin, originally from the California Bay Area, started on trombone at age 13. An alumna of Berkeley High School, Cal State Northridge and New England Conservatory, Mariel is the 2018 recipient of the ASCAP Phoebe Jacobs Young Jazz Composer Award. She has played on American Idol, The Voice and Noches Con Platanito. She has also played with Karol G, BBNO$, Andy Grammer and Oingo Boingo Former Members. Red Rabbit & The Burrows has a jazz foundation with strong rock & roll influence.
