Brookside Park is Pasadena’s largest fully maintained park (61.1 acres) just south of the Rose Bowl, home to the Jackie Robinson Memorial Field baseball stadium (seating 4,200), the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center, and Kidspace Children’s Museum. Dedicated in 1914, it remains a community hub in the Arroyo Seco for sports, picnics, and occasional large outdoor events a short hop from Old Town Pasadena’s dining and nightlife.

Extensive parking facilities are available off Arroyo Boulevard; during larger events, Brookside/Rose Bowl lots (e.g., Lot I) are commonly used and may have special traffic controls.

Public transit

Take the Metro A Line to Memorial Park Station, then connect via Pasadena Transit Routes 51/52 which serve the Rose Bowl/Brookside area with stops near Seco St & Arroyo Blvd/Lincoln Ave; on major event days, shuttles typically operate between Old Pasadena (Parsons Lot B) and the stadium area.
