Pepperdine University’s Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts on the Malibu campus presents touring artists and student productions across its venues, anchored by the intimate 448-seat Smothers Theatre. The Center also includes the 124-seat Raitt Recital Hall and the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art, and was endowed and named for Lisa Smith Wengler in 2013. Set along Pacific Coast Highway, it’s a destination arts hub with ocean views rather than a dense, walkable nightlife strip.
