Vermont Square Branch Library

Vermont Square Branch Library is a historic Los Angeles Public Library branch in South LA’s Vermont Square neighborhood, operating in its original 1913 Carnegie?funded building. Recognized as Los Angeles Historic?Cultural Monument No. 264 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it was seismically retrofitted and reopened in 1996; the branch hosts community programs in a downstairs multipurpose room (meeting room seating 40). Set on W. 48th Street across from Vermont Square Park, it serves as a neighborhood hub a short distance south of USC/Exposition Park.
