The World Stage Big Band is a weekly rehearsal/workshop ensemble coordinated by Billy McCoy at The World Stage Performance Gallery in Leimert Park. The band functions as a community education ensemble that explores jazz across the decades and appears regularly on The World Stage events calendar. It has presented guest artists for special concerts, including performances featuring saxophonist Ernie Watts.
