As one of the last surviving and leading independent bookstores, Book Soup packs over 60,000 titles in-stock, specializing in art, film, photography, music, controversial non-fiction, and literary fiction. With a deep commitment to university, International, and small presses, customers will continue to be surprised by the rare gems found on our shelves. Parking

Free one?hour parking in the small lot behind the store (access via Nellas St.); additional metered parking on Sunset Blvd, free parking on Palm Ave and Larrabee St, and nearby paid lots.

Public transit

LA Metro Bus Line 2 runs along Sunset Blvd with stops near the store; transfers connect to the Metro B Line (Red) at Hollywood/Highland. West Hollywood’s Cityline shuttle provides frequent service along Santa Monica Blvd to/from Hollywood/Highland for easy rail connections.
