LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes is a Mexican American museum and cultural center that opened in 2011, housed in the restored Vickrey?Brunswig Building and Plaza House at El Pueblo near Olvera Street. The campus includes a 30,000?square?foot garden with an outdoor performance stage used for concerts, festivals, and community events. Steps from Union Station, it hosts exhibitions and public programs celebrating Mexican, Mexican American, and Latino heritage.
